Donating your vehicle to the Julia Greeley Home allows us to continue our mission in welcoming women who are ready and motivated to move beyond homelessness to rediscover dignity and independence.
To donate your vehicle, you simply need a clear title and the keys—your vehicle does not have to be in working condition!
The Julia Greeley Home partners with Driven to Donate DBA Step Denver to facilitate vehicle donations. Step Denver gives men with nowhere else to turn the opportunity to overcome addiction through sobriety, work, accountability, and community. Your vehicle donation will have double the impact on our community!
Your vehicle donation will have double the impact on our community, because the shared net proceeds benefit Julia Greeley House and Step Denver.
The IRS will allow you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the gross sale of your vehicle. If the gross sale of the vehicle is greater than $500, the IRS may require you to fill out Form 8283, “Non-cash Charitable Contributions.” For more information, consult your tax professional.
