Donating your vehicle to Building Bridges will help them to equip youth with communication and leadership skills to transform divisive attitudes in their communities. They create space for authentic self-exploration, connection, dialogue, and healing in the face of injustice through three unique programs.
Transform brings together diverse young people from Metro Denver high schools for a year-long program. Together they develop leadership and communication skills that increase: self-awareness, confidence, the ability to affirm the dignity of others, listen with empathy, and form authentic relationships.
Legacy engages alumni in professional development that grows their networks and provides continuing education. We support alumni as they translate personal growth into community impact. Activities include facilitation training, internships, socials, and leadership positions on our board.
Shift offers customized workshops for businesses, nonprofits, and community groups. Trained alumni co-facilitate workshops with staff using our proven model. Shift expands our reach to the community while providing paid leadership opportunities for our alumni.
To donate your vehicle, truck, motorcycle, RV, or boat, you simply need a clear title and keys; we take any vehicle, regardless of the condition. We will provide free towing and your donation is tax deductible.
Building Bridges partners with Driven to Donate operated by Step Denver (501c3) to facilitate our vehicle donations. Step Denver gives men with nowhere else to turn the opportunity to overcome addiction through sobriety, work, accountability, and community. Your vehicle donation will have double the impact on our community!
The IRS will allow you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the gross sale of your vehicle. Please consult your tax professional.
