Donating your vehicle to the Art from Ashes will allow us to continue to empower struggling youth by providing creative programs that facilitate health and hope through expression, connection and transformation.
Art from Ashes (AfA) is the first youth arts agency in Colorado to use a process of creative expression specifically designed to facilitate personal transformation. AfA’s empowerment workshops transcend standard arts programming by encouraging some of our most neglected members of society to embrace their creative identity rather than one founded on negative experiences and circumstances.
To support us by donating your vehicle, you simply need a clear title and the keys—your vehicle does not have to be in working condition!
Art from Ashes partners with Driven 2 Donate created by Step Denver to facilitate vehicle donations. Step Denver is a Colorado nonprofit that gives men with nowhere else to turn the opportunity to overcome addiction through a program of sobriety, work, accountability, and community.
Your vehicle donation will have double the impact on our community, because the shared net proceeds benefit Art from Ashes and Step Denver!
The IRS will allow you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the gross sale of your vehicle. If the gross sale of the vehicle is greater than $500, the IRS may require you to fill out Form 8283, “Non-cash Charitable Contributions.” For more information, consult your tax professional.
