Donating your vehicle to the Arvada United Methodist Church allows us to continue our mission in creating and promoting a faith that is thoughtful, compassionate, and inclusive. We invite all to attend, and we encourage the acceptance of all people; we recognize it is the role of the church to help us confront and continue to examine our individual intolerances.
To support us by donating your vehicle, you simply need a clear title and the keys—your vehicle does not have to be in working condition!
Arvada United Methodist Church partners with Driven to Donate DBA Step Denver to facilitate vehicle donations. Step Denver is a Colorado nonprofit that helps low-income, often homeless men overcome the consequences of addiction and rebuild their lives through a program of sobriety, work, and accountability. One nonprofit helping another!
Your vehicle donation will have double the impact on our community, because the shared net proceeds benefit Arvada United Methodist Church and Step Denver. The IRS will allow you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the gross sale of your vehicle. If the gross sale of the vehicle is greater than $500, the IRS may require you to fill out Form 8283, “Non-cash Charitable Contributions.” For more information, consult your tax professional.
