Donating your vehicle to the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation will support public safety employees, their families, and organizations by providing support and resources. Through the efforts of committed leadership, partnerships and staff, we work to ease the times of unexpected hardship, supporting seriously injured or fallen offices and their families, furthering their higher education, engaging and developing new programs to support and recognize these employees’ commitment to public safety, and by providing the general public with information, education, technology and other means necessary to promote a safer transportation system within we all operate.
To donate your car, truck, or motorcycle you simply need a clear title and keys; we take any vehicle, regardless of the condition. We will provide free towing and your donation is tax deductible.
Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation partners with Driven to Donate operated by Step Denver (501c3) to facilitate our vehicle donations. Step Denver gives men with nowhere else to turn the opportunity to overcome addiction through sobriety, work, accountability, and community. Your vehicle donation will have double the impact on our community!
The IRS will allow you to take a charitable tax deduction on your federal income tax return for the gross sale of your vehicle. Please consult your tax professional.
